    Importing HDV

    I’ve recently started shooting in HDV instead of DV so I can have some room to crop or for wiggle/zoom effects if I want. I shoot for web only so I have plenty of extra information. Now, I’m importing HDV into Premiere Pro 2 for the first time and it seems to be a little different.
    I don’t seem to have scene detect available and there is no preview for video or audio. Not a big deal but I wanted to see if this is normal or if I am forgetting to flip a switch somewhere.
    4gig ram, hyperthreaded 3.12gig Dell, IT sets up my station so that’s all I know.

    That’s normal for HDV.
