    Hi Guys

I hired a JVC HM100 today and did some filming
    My setting was 1920/50i PAL
Playback on the viewfinder is fine
    Playback in FCP is fine
But the picture on the external monitor is all jerky and edgy, especially on moving shots.
This is the first time I have worked with HD in FCP.
When I export an edit to DVD/MPEG etc etc its still jerky.
Do I need to reconvert the files which I was told you just drag into FCP from this camera.

    Any help really appreciated

Sounds to me like perahps you have a setting wrong somewhere. What kind of files do you have, are they .movs or MTS?

And your output is 1080i50 on your decklink? Perhaps you should travel over the the blackmagic forum and see what they say.
