Importing From FCP TO Effects + CC Wire Removal
Hello,
I have a couple of questions concerning my footage. I’ve done a lot of research, but I feel I would get most out of it by posting my questions here. I have my footage edited in final cut pro. How should I export it to Adobe After Effects?
I always did it through quick time conversion (H.264 Best Quality). Is this the best codec to use for AE?Furthermore, when I import the file into AE it lags when I play it in the timeline (a marker shows, for example 19.7/29.7 fps, not real time). I know of the interpret footage tool, but I’m not sure of how to use it.
Lastly and most importantly. I have a vertical white line that runs through parts of my film. I’ve used the CC Wire Removal tool on each frame and it works great, but is there a way to go frame by frame with the CC tool and be apply to apply different settings (move it around that is because the white vertical scratch shifts slightly from right to left and vice versa from frame to frame). I will be willing to put in the time to work frame by frame with the CC Tool. I simply need to know how to separate the sequence into frames (ex. 0:00:00:01 and 0:00:00:02).
When I use the tool, it works on the whole sequence not just on the second I want.
Thank You
Boris
