    Hello,

I am exporting a Quicktime from Final Cut Pro into Avid Xpress Pro. I shot with the Vericam HD. What is the best export setting? So far Im thinking its Sorenson, 1280x720HD. Would I Deinterlace or not?

    Thanks,

    Jimmy

Could you bring your EDL over to AXP and then redigitize the footage? I think you would be happier with the quality,

    Joe,

I’m sure I can do that, but I never have tried that before. I take it I export the EDL, then open up in AXP, and redig at 1:1??? The files are on my hard drive, so can I dig from there?

    Thanks so much,

    Jimmy

You’ll have to redigitize from a deck, AFAIK.

Or, if you purchase Automatic Duck…
