    Hi there,
I am using Adobe Pre. Pro 1.5
I don’t have any trouble importing video from my digital camcorder but I do have some trouble getting video on there to edit from the “OLD” camcorders that hold the BIG video tapes.
How do I go about doing this?
    Thanks

You have to use your DV camera to convert the analog signal coming from your VCR to digital. Most all DV cameras can do this.
You would play your old tapes on your VCR running either the composite or S-Video output into your DV camera. You will probably have to change some settings on your DV camera too, check your manual.
Also, you won’t have control of the camera so you will have to manually start the VCR and hit “record” button in premieres capture window.
