    Hi,

I’m wondering if there is any effect on how I import my footage into FCP? Does one deck give any bonus to another? If so, what’s advised?

    Thanks in advance,

    Cuss

    Thanks Richard,

Are you indicating firewire is not an optimal way to import the footage?

No.. just that Firewire is Firewire… its a straight data transfer

    Thanks again RIchard.

Im wondering what the best way is to import the broadcast quality footage I have. As its DV and not HDV im presuming the quality is only suitable as 720*576? If I change my frame size to a HD setting and import the footage, will it be a higher quality or just stretched to a larger dimension and would this actually improve the viewing at all?

Hope thats all clear, and thanks as always! 🙂
