    Importing flash movies into vegas

    I am currently working on a project that i need to import flash movies onto the timeline. This does not seem to work when i drag and drop the files. Is there any particular way that the flash movies have to be encoded or any particular settings on vegas that i need to be aware of?

    The flash encoder plug-in does not work with Vegas. The new Flash 8 includes the encoder. FLV files are the flash video files. SWF files are the published videos and contain extra metadata, etc.

    Flash files work if you save them as Flash 5 format.
