Importing file trouble with Dan Ebbert’s “Creating Text Layers From File”
Hi all,
I’m trying to modify Dan Ebbert’s “Creating Text Layers From File” script for some other purpose, but it seems that the file importing does not work. Not even with his original script.
I’ve tried exporting with textedit, bbedit, word in a series of ways, but nothing is recognized in the file dialog…I want to use this script though, since it’s simple and easily modifiable by me, an unexperienced scripter.

Never mind. I got it to work by changing
var myFile = fileGetDialog(“Select a text file to open.”, “TEXT txt”);into
var myFile = fileGetDialog(“Select a text file to open.”, “”);
apologies.
