There seems to be quite a few people trying to import FCPX XML into Premiere Pro CC. A number of people suggest buying Xto7, and this seems to result in mixed reactions. There is a workaround that is free. All you need is the lite version of DaVinci Resolve.

Import the fcpxml into Resolve. Export from Resolve to AAF. Then import the AAF into PP.

There maybe a little cleaning up to do but it’s the best workaround I’ve found.

    Hope this helps!

Purchased Xto7 and tried using FCPX 10.2.1 XML into Premiere Pro CC 2014.
The audio part comes in nicely but all R3Ds dont.
They end up as generic icons with question mark.
When you double click on a file it pops up the “Edit Offline” window.
I tried relink (thanks Oliver Peters) but it doesnt seem to relink the Audio Synced files but just the original R3Ds.
