Importing FCP Project
I apologize if this exact question has been asked and I missed it, but I couldn’t find anything in the forums…
I am trying to import a final cut pro xml file into Premiere CS 5.5 and/or 6. But every time I try to import it, all I get are green boxes in Premiere, and I can’t see the actual footage. I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’m at a loss and weary of FCP’s I/O Errors and other malfunctions, and I am on a deadline. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Did you try “re-linking” footage/stills/audio/etc?

I did, but then I discovered that Premiere doesn’t have the same linking capabilities that FCP has. This is a 2-hour project with hundreds of clips… :
