    Hi

Just got on board with Vegas, excellant package.

Now the problem I have is that when I try to import an EDL from Ulead MSP 7.0, vegas crashes. Looking at the EDL files they appear to be in a different format than the ones that vegas generates. Is there anyway to convert or prepare these so I can import ? I have a half finished project in MSP7 which I really would like to migrate over to Vegas. It’s a fairly large project with about 400 clips (a wedding of all things), and after using Vegas for about 5 seconds I really don’t want to have to finish it in MSP.

I could export what I have already done as an AVI but I want to change some of the transitions, edit points, audio etc etc. Basically I have a rough edit!

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try exporting a video only EDL from Ulead then audio only two tracks at at time.

I think CMX is the one to go with if you have a choice.
