Importing, Editing, Exporting Overview
I just want to make sure I understand the proper workflow for editing HD.
In audio/video settings, set capture preset to ProRes 422/422 HQ
Then I log and capture my footage, and edit it all.
Then when I export, do I need to replace the footage with some high quality version? Or is ProRes good enough.
It’s weird, in Audio/Video Setting, my capture preset is set to DVCPROHD 1080i, yet in FCP under sequence settings, the compressor is ProRes 422, I just want to understand once and for all what to preset all the settings to for importing and exporting…
