    Importing DVCPRO50

    Hi all,

    I’m importing DVCPRO50 files into AVID Composer 3 and what I get is very much the same pricture except that it’s much darker and have a lot more contrast. I’ve tried different settings and and some gives a minor change but it’s still very much darker in AVID then when I play the clip in QT. Has it got anything to do with the chroma issue in QT or is is it avid thats doing something to the picture?

    Go by your NTSC monitor and your external scopes.
