Importing DVCPro HD into Avid
I am trying to import some clips that are DVCPro HD into my Avid Adrenaline. I thought I had the codec in my new software update but when I import the clip all I get is a white screen. Any suggestions where to get and download that codec? Avid site doesn’t seem to have just that. Thanks!

Are these Quicktime files encoded in the DCVProHD codec? If they are, you need to buy a decoder like Raylight or Calibrated to view them. Or if you’re on a Mac, buy FCP and install it (I’d opt for the decoder).

Yes they are QT files with the DVCPro HD codec. I am going to check out the links you posted. It looks like the Calibrated software works like I need.
