importing deleted footage back to project hard drive

Simply select the missing footage on your project window, right click over it and then select “Replace footage”. A window will pop up, where you can browse and find your original file. Although i recommend to first make a copy of your original file in case you accidently delete it again.
If you can’t find your footage on you project window, you can right click over the desired clip on your timeline, and select “Reveal in project”

problem is, the backup footage is on a removable hard disk and i want it to get copied into the internal hard drive where it originally was, not just to reffer to a new clip.
