  Importing custom shapes from photoshop

  I have a custom shape path that I made in Photoshop and I want to import it in After Effects. However, the custom shape has multiple disjointed paths. So, when I create a Shape layer in AE and make a dummy shape using the Pen tool and paste the custom shape from Photoshop, only one of the paths appears as a path and the rest of the paths appear as masks.

  Would like to know if there is a solution or an alternative way of doing the same.
