Importing cr2 VIDEO into Premiere Pro
Hi,
I’m having lots of problems importing cr2 Video into Premiere Pro.
I’ve seen lots of workaround solutions using Photoshop or Lightroom, but for me it is just importing the still image.
I also can’t import the video into AE.
I’m on a Mac 10.10.3, MacPro (late 2013)
I’m using the latest Premiere Pro CC update (as of this moment).

Premiere does not support cr2 files, nor does AE.

I’m trying to take over a project from a PC user, using Premiere Pro CC.
They said that they had no problem importing.

Premiere does not support CR2 files. After Effects supports camera raw image sequences (sequential numbered still images) that are compatible with the latest Adobe Camera RAW. There is no such thing as a CR2 video files.

Ah HA!
So the editor THOUGHT they were giving me the video clips, but gave me cr2 stills with the same names instead. There is no video format with cr2 in the suffix.
Mystery solved.
