Apple Color had this handy feature to import corrections from a different sequence. This meant if you had identical sequences then all your grades would land on the right clips (minus tracking data).

It was great if you needed to troubleshoot corrupted project files. Does Resolve have anything like this? It would be great if we could have more sharing between projects than just the gallery. – i.e. If you could import a sequence from another project file or import its corrections. Just a thought.

Brilliant! Thanks the the tip. It just keeps getting better.

Is there a way to get it to copy the RAW decoder settings as well? It seems to leave them all at project settings.

And this is the bummer part. If you’re doing any kind of RAW grading- Red-Alexa, Sony, NONE of the metadata settings will be copied. Therefore, Colortrace is completely useless with RAW material. And it get’s worse. Try to copy grade, including metadata from another shot in the timeline and then hit undo. Whoops, you can’t undo metadata chang But that is nothing new. We had been discussing this pretty much from day one…
