Importing color
Trying to import an Illustrator file into 4d, however, I cannot figure out how to get my seperate colors from Illustrator into my 4d doc, any ideas..

If you are importing your Illustrator curves directly into C4D, there will be no colors because C4D wouldn’t have a way to show or render them. Splines in C4D don’t render much less have a renderable color.
You can use your splines to drop into sweeps, lofts, and extrudes to create geometry that does render. Then on that geometry you can match the colors from your original ai file.
