Importing clip colors into DaVinci Resolve through FCP7 XML
I’m generating Final Cut Pro 7 XML files externally and importing them into DaVinci Resolve Free.
The timeline, cuts, transforms and markers import correctly. Timeline markers can also have duration, but all markers appear in the default color.
I’m trying to assign different colors to the actual timeline clips through XML. I tested:

- FCP7 XML / XMEML v5
<labels><label2>COLOR</label2></labels>inside eachclipitem- Final Cut/Premiere color names
- DaVinci Resolve color names
Resolve imports the timeline but ignores all clip color data.
Has anyone successfully imported clip colors into Resolve using FCP7 XML, FCPXML, AAF or another editable interchange format, without using the Resolve scripting API or modifying DRT files?
