    Importing chapters from another timeline

    I am using Encore CS5.5, and I edited a video in Final Cut Pro, I exported into a self contained QuickTime file and have encoded my concert video into an MPEG2 for making a DVD, and an H.264 file for making a Blu-ray.

    I made the Blu-ray disc, with a menu, and my concert video with 30 custom chapter points.

    Now it’s time to make the DVD.

    I saved the project with a new name, and changed the project settings to DVD. I would like to be able to simply import the list of my chapter points onto my new timeline with my MPEG2 video.

    Is this possible? How?

    casey,
    the most easy way is to save your previously created BD-project as a new projectfile then set the project-settings to DVD and start muxing straight away.

    so you´ll get a DVD from your BD-project, but I would prefer DVD Studio Pro to create DVD – much more capable then encore.
