Importing C300 MK2 Clips into Resolve
Hi,
I’m planning on grading in resolve, but want to edit in Avid. So I’m importing the clips into resolve first, then transcoding them to use in MC.
But the first step of importing the clips into Resolve, all I get is a red offline box. They were shot Clog2, 23.98 1920×1080. The only clips that show up from the CLIPS001 folder are the clips shot at 96 fps. Everything else shot at 23.98 is offline and I can’t connect to them.
I’m using a Beta version of Davinci, V12.0.1.006. Is that the issue? Do I need to convert the clips from this camera first, or am I missing a codec? They show up instantly when linking in Avid. Not planning on grading on this version, just want to keep the metadata intact going back and forth.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try updating to a non- beta version of Resolve.
Go to 12.5.6.\”MY MEDIA/PROJECT MOTO: If you think three copies of your media or project are enough.
Take a moment to place a value on them and then maybe add two more.
