Importing “avi” into Premiere 6.5
My problemis that when i go to import my footage that is in “avi” I can open it and see the footage in the “source” window, but when I put into the timeline all I see in the “program” window is black for the whole clip.

Is the avi file DV footage? Premiere 6.5 works best with DV.
