  Importing AVI files from Z7U

  I have a new HVR-Z7U. I just captured a couple of hours of footage on the MRC1 recorder (records to compact flash cards) and copied the AVI files to my computer. I have Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.1. Footage was captured as DV and 48K audio. Any AVI file over about 800mb gets an error message:

  “Adobe Premiere Pro has encountered an error”
  “[\dev\CaptainDoby\MediaLayer\Src\Audio\AudioPreviewFile.cpp-301]”

  At that point any import bombs. The whole point of the Z7U for me is to be able to record some DV and HDV without tape. Somehow some of tehse AVI files seem not to be compatible with PP1.5.1

  Ideas?
