Importing avchd files from a folder as file import, do not work.
Fcp x says that it can not import avchd files from an folder but only direcktly from the camera….? Any tips on how to import avchd from a folder, and the rigth setting for importing 😉

try “Import from Camera”, then select the folder. If you have the footage in its structure as it was in the camera, then that´s how you do it.

It’s a camera archive, so import from camera is needed.
Select the AVCHD folder as root. done.

Actually, FCP X would read AVCHD folder on Mac hard drive with the original camera structure.
Choose “Import from Camera”, right click on the pop-up window, and choose “Open Archive”. It should be like the below:
Of course, you should choose AVCHD or BDMV as the folder to open. 😉
