    Importing Audio into Avid – shortens length of clip

    When I import a WAV file into Avid MC8, it shortens it’s duration significantly. For example a 12min 10sec min clip is becoming 3min 2secs.

    I’m working on Apple 10.9.2

    Any suggestions?

    I only see this with multitrack monophonic and option to create one master clip upon import. If you:

    1. Import all clips as individual tracks and autosync
    2. Create a poly file in WaveAgent

    I’ve reported same behavior in 8.x beta.
