Importing an Image Sequence
Hi,
I am new to FCP but have worked on other editing softwares. Ive found that the only way one can import and image sequence into FCP is by first converting the sequence to a movie using Quicktime Pro. If its one odd sequence then its fine but here we are dealing with appox 650 odd such image sequences with varying duration.
Is it the only way? I did a search and found on post of 13th April ’05 saying the same question the answer was using Quicktime Pro. I strongly believe there has to be a way coz a software like Premier or Edit one can easily import an image sequence.
Suggestions please…

If you absolutely need a .mov, then QT Pro is it. Otherwise you can import them as a bin, then drop the bin onto the timeline. Or you can make a new sequence and nest them to treat them as a clip. No way to stitch them as a QuickTime w/o exporting-importing them as QT.
