Importing an EDL from Adobe Premier
Posted by Robb Stan on May 19, 2005 at 7:19 pmDoes Adobe Premier create EDL’s that are compatible with FCP? If so, what is the best EDL format for FCP?

May 19, 2005 at 10:25 pmI think Premiere Pro only makes CMX3600 EDLs. Yes, it works fine with Final Cut.

May 20, 2005 at 4:27 amIs there a solution for transforming the adobe title designer Still graphics to something that will work in final cut as a graphic? I have several projects and this would be a great help since I switched over and now need to do a re-edit. Maybe a TGA. I know this is more suited for the premiere forum, but thought Iid ask since it is a part of the process.
Many Thanks,

first: don’t hijack threads. this is a new topic…
I think FCP imports many different graphic formats.
See the manual for that. There’s a list.Make sure you’re using an uncompressed format and have the transparancy preserved (‘Millions+’ colors)
