Importing ALE files?
Hey Guys,
Our shop is set up with AVID log exchange running on a machine, hooked up to a beta where we off-line a lot of our projects.
My question is, when I want to import the ALE files…I have to:
Create new bin,
right-click “import”
browse to ALE file folder and click OK
then name the new bin the same name as the ALE (for continuity)It seems like that if I create all this within AVID programming, there should be an automated way for this all to happen…especially when I am importing 10-15 bins of footage.

The only thing not automated is the naming the bin the same as the ALE file. You can drag and drop ALE files into a bin, one or many at once.
