    Importing .ai file into Motion 4 gets top of image cropped off

    Hi Guys

    I’m importing an .ai file (which was originally a .psd file ‘saved as’ an .ai file so I could use it in Motion) bu the top of the image keeps getting cut off. Have unticked ‘fixed resolution’ and have not been doing anything unusual in Motion or Illustrator.

    Have also tried importing the same .psd file into Motion but again the problem occurs.

    Whenever I preview the .ai or .psd file the image shows perfectly…it’s just the top that gets lopped off upon importing into Motion 4.

    Any ideas or tips whatsoever would be really appreciated.

    Think I figured it out (by chance). In Media I changed the Alpha selection to none/ignore.
