importing after effects files
Hi all,
I just updated to final cut version 7. I have a person that has sent me graphics done in after effects and 29.97. The problem is the titles and graphic look a little rough and not as sharp. When I open the file in after effects or quicktime it looks great. Are some of my settings wrong. The footage just does not look as great in final cut. What else can I do to fix this problem.

What are your sequence settings? If you’re editing in an NTSC DV sequence, your graphics will look awful no matter what. Try ProRes 422 instead.
