Guess this must be a long standing issue but at this moment, I need a yea or a nay.

Can you import a .prproj into FCP?

If not, can someone suggest a ‘bit’ of software to enable this, please?

Many thanks, off to feed the deer

I think at one time Automatic Duck might have done this. Not sure about the current version. Can Premiere export an XML that FCP can open? Just a thought or two.

Thanks John. I guess this is going to be one of the traditional technological slogs. Nothing like a challenge though…

[John Fishback] “Can Premiere export an XML that FCP can open?”

That would be the best option if Premiere can do it, I dont know if it can.

The BIGGER problem that you will run into is that most likely your media files from Premiere will be incompatible with FCP.

There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!

The other way (FC to PP) no problems, but PP to FC doesn’t work yet:

    Hopefully soon.
