importing a photoshop file problem
Some of the effects I’ve added in a PS file do not show up in FCP when imported — effects like drop shadow, satin, inner glow.
Any ideas why?

I believe those type of effects do not import into FCP unless you Rasterize the Layer, or create a merged layer before importing.
