I’m new to this, so forgive my ignorance.

I shot some footage with the Panasonic HVX using 720p 60/fps. I imported it to FCP from the P2 cards, but when I looked in my project all of the clip’s are at 23.98 frame rate. Now they all view as 60fps, but the footage looks slightly jittery. Is this somehow related to FCP’s conversion from 60 to 23.98? I tried to use the DVCPROHD frame rate converter, thinking this might fix the problem but recieved an error that it only accepts 59.94 clips.

Any help on how I can clean these clips up would be most appreciated.

Did you shoot 24pN at 60fps??
Or did you shoot 720 60p??
    Try opening a 720 24p sequence.
    The frame rate converter will
only convert footage shot 720 60p.
