importing 5.1 ac3 audio in dvd architect problem
Hi all
Im trying to import a vegas created 5.1 surround ac3 encoded file into a dvd architect 5, 1440 x 1080i 5.1 project.When the file is imported, it shows up as stereo with all the audio on the right channel and barely any audio on the left channel.
The audio also plays from the project timeline mainly out of the right speaker only. (a tiny bit out of the left just like it looks on the timeline). The project settings definetly are set up for 5.1, ac3.The ac3 file plays fine on all channels when played in windows media player. I know the file is ok since i can hear it in media player, i know the project settings are 5.1 sound. What the heck is going on? Why am I stuck with a partial mono, 5.1 surrond track in DVD Architect?
any help is much, much appreciated.

the project properties are set as:
Bluray disc-mpeg2 video(1440 x 1080, 29.97)surround sound 5.1 ac3. -
importing files to dvd architect 4.5 and audio pops and glitches when played on tabletop player video files play fine in media player i burnt files in nero and audio also plays fine is there a setting off in the 4.5 software sony can not help bob

Architect only SHOWS a stereo “downmix”. Burns result back to 5.1 however.
I noticed this too.
