Hello, (and sorry for asking SO MANY QUESTIONS). I’ve never had this much trouble with any project i’ve worked on before :S
I seem to have lost my encore DVD and now I’m having problems exporting my projects. I’ve tried exporting by following the Adobe media encoder option in the file menu, but everytime I do that, premiere shuts down. I am so very frustrated and don’t know what to do. I’m so worried that after spending hours and hours of editing i won’t be able to put my work on a dvd.
    PLEASE HELP ME.

Relax. Reinstall Premiere Pro CS3 and EncoreDVD CS3. It won’t take that long… Then look for the updates for them in Help> Updates. There is one for PProCS3 3.1.1 and EncoreDVD 3.0.1.
They can be downloaded from adobe.com (search for the updates)
If you can export an avi clip of the timeline encoreDVD can convert that to DVD MPEG-2.
You seem to have a corrupted installation of these programs, please reinstall them. If you are running a trial version you must buy it to complete the process.

If I reinstall Premiere Pro CS3 and EncoreDVD CS3 will I not lose my work that’s on Premiere Pro CS3 now? Don’t I need to uninstall then re-install Premiere Pro CS3? Should I just save the work as copies in a file somewhere (desktop or my documents or something) in order to make sure I still have them for when i re-install?
Thanks again for all your help Jon.
    🙂

I’ve done this many times in the past and the project files and assets don’t get affected by the uninstall and reinstall process. That will only affect the folders and files for the Applications. If you are worried back up the files to another drive.
