June 6, 2010 at 4:26 pmHave you installed the mjpeg codec.
That is the only way to get footage of the Nikon to play. -

June 7, 2010 at 7:35 pmYou’re not by any chance making the desktop video with the same camera as your driving files are you? Ann’s advice regarding the codec needed is good.

June 12, 2010 at 11:15 amHi All, I just discovered I am having the same or similar issue. I have a video I edited last week and have already rendered it once. I am now trying to make some changes to it and the video will not play in the program window. It is frozen on the same frame, audio is fine. If I click on the video in the program panel it will play but only until it reaches a transition either on that layer or any of the layers above it. The it freezes and I have to click the program panel again. This is a TV program that has about five layers witth many many cuts. Also, in the spirit of giving you as much info as possible, There is a white box (like resize or scaleing handles arouind the clip in the program video. Don’t ever recall seeing that before. I am using CS3 for about 1.5 years and never had 1 issue with it until now.
Thanks

July 24, 2010 at 10:38 amI think I have similar problem. Actually I imported composition from AE in Pr. Composition has a running text and music. When I export my video from Pr, I get all the things I made in Pr, music from exported AE file, but I don’t get letters. And when i preview file I see the letters, but when I export it there are none. The file is on the top, so it’s not covered with some file above him. Even stranger I did this yesterday with same composition, and it worked fine. Ideas?
