Imported Quicktime -Video out of sync w/ Audio
Hi
I have FCP v.6
After upgrading from v.5 to 6, and converting my project, the quicktime movies in the project are out not right….the video is not in sync w/ the audio..now, this was fine w/ v.5. It’s a new problem w/ v.6.
I dumped the media and tried reconnecting the quicktime movies but it still isn’t working right…Maybe the settings are incorrect in relation to the quicktime movies? I’m going to try and trouble shoot this but if anyone has suggestions I’d really appreciate them!

Are your files out of sync when you play them in QT? If not, I had this same problem when I upgraded from fcp5 to fcp6… check your system settings under “playback control” and check the frame offset. Mine defaulted to “4” which caused the clip to appear out of sync with the audio. I changed it to “0” and I was good to go. Hope this helps!
