When importing footage set at highest quality, the footage looks fine on the monitor, then suddenly all clips in bin got over exposed and washed out looking. I tried to reboot a few times, but it still looks the same. When I try to re-digitize footage, it all looks over exposed and washed out in the media 100 monitor, but not the ntsc monitor. I checked all connections and setting, but can’t figure out problem. We have two other sde systems with break-out boxes that don’t have this problem. Any ideas?

    thanks,
    Brian Johnston

    Hi Brian

What codec are you digitizing to and what format are you digitizing?

    Cheers
    Paul

    Additionally,

    – What versions of things are you using? OS, QT, M100 and anything else relevant.

    – When you say the other systems don’t exhibit the problem…
A: are ALL your systems SDe systems?
B: are you importing the exact same files into the other systems?

Hey Paul, just got back from vacation and nobody addressed issue. Anyway, I’m shooting on dvcpro and using media 100i compression type when importing. I’ve compared system setting against two other systems we use (without this issue) and everything is the same. This is a problem which started happening out of the blue.

all systems are media 100 sde systems operating version 13.0.2 Quicktime 7.6 Aja 6.0.3.

I just downloaded update to m100 13.0.4 – but problem persists.
I’ve checked all connections, compared codecs, settings, etc to other
    working systems – I’M BAFFLED!
