    Hello,

So, my editor gave me avid footage exported as “same as source” aka VC-3 (DNxHD) footage and when I try to transcode it into another format in Adobe Media Encoder (latest verson CC) it starts out with some picture then goes to a RED image with the sound underneath it.

Adobe Premiere (latest version CC) does the same thing if I try to edit the footage natively.

And yet free apps like Handbrake seem to transcode the footage okay.

I have Avid on my computer and installed all of the codecs, so I’m baffled as to what’s going on.

Any help would be appreciated! Specific data on the file below images.
