    Hi my names Chris,

I am currently at Teesside Uni and I am trying to render out my final year project but I am having problems.

I rendered all my frames from Softimage using the HD 1280×720 res however when I try compressing all the image files in After Effects it speeds up my work making the whole scene not synced with my audio track anymore. In after effets i have been trying to render through Quick Time movie player running at 25 frames a second.

Any one got any suggestions on how this can be sorted? I am really struggling 🙁

    Thanks

Sounds likely that After Effects is not interpreting the SoftImage footage correctly. Right-click on the footage in the Project pane and select Interpret Footage > Main. Then set the correct frame rate for the footage.

One addition to Brian’s solution: the default frame rate for imported image sequences is 30 fps. You can change this default under Preferences > Import > Sequence Footage.
