    When I went to import some video from my P2 card tonite my import window was grayed out. It recognized my P2 card but again everything was grayed out. This problem continued until I went to Final Cut Pro-Services-Service Preference and then everything was fine. I was able to import with no problems. Any clue to what happened?

    I have no idea what was going on, but I would reccommend that before opening FCPX and importing clips, you copy the entire file structure from the card to your media drive and eject the card. Import clips from the backed-up files on your hard drive.

    What version of FCPX are you on?

    I’m on 10.0.7-thi was the first time this happened-every other time was flawless
