  Import size info from Premiere

  The never ending issues with conforming a Premiere project.

  5K RED files in 2K timeline. I did a bunch of resizing on it using the “motion” tab.

  I export XML, import it to Resolve, choose the correct timeline and 2k frame size, and what I end
  with is clips that are really small, with a ton of black space around and positioned in different parts of the frame.

  They make a case in that thread that Resolve will only translate “scale to frame size” and not adjustments made in the motion tab. If that’s true that is pretty bad because I know of no other way to create digital push ins, as well as scale it to the size you want. “Scale to frame size” will only scale to your frame size, not larger or smaller, which in my case I want.
