Import photoshop pictures without changing the format/document size
Hi,
I want to set up a photoshop document, so i can line up a series of pictures and then import the 3 separate
pictures to Final Cut Pro 7. The problem is every time i import my pictures, the format changes in Final Cut. What am i doing wrong? I have tried to change the pixel aspect ratio in my Photoshop document, but without luck and i have tried to remove attributes (distort) in Final Cut, but also without luck……Here is some screenshots of my Final Cut document and my Photoshop document:

The first thing I spotted is that in the first screen shot you’ve got a frame size for 720p but below it the pixel aspect ratio is PAL CCIR601 which is non-square pixels. That might not be the only issue, but it’s not going to help – it should be square.

Why are you using a “custom” setup in FCP? Use one of the photoshop presets so that everything is set up properly.
**Hindsight is always 1080p**
