import not the same as capture
Captured footage from mini DV deck into FCP 4.5 HD footage comes up only 53 sec when imported however if I view file in quicktime it says 1:02:20 have restarted made new doc in FCP???
any tips???? -

Hard to tell from your post what you’re doing.
The imported clip may or may not have in and out points on it.bogiesan
