    Hello,
    I’m new to Premeire Pro and this (Panasonic AG-HVX200P) P2 camera that I’m shooting on.

    How do I capture/import my video files to Premiere Pro from my camera? I’m connected to my computer via USB.

    Any help will be appreciated

    Just transfer the data, in its current arrangement, to your internal (or attached) harddrive. PPro knows what to do with it when you open a project and import it. No conversion is necessary.

    In theory, you can edit right from the card…but unless you are an ENG operation, that probably isn’t practical from a workflow standpoint…
