    Hi all
How do i import an alpha matte?
I have an animation file with alpha wich i have import in afterFx (Resolve don’t like my animation file) then rerender an apr4444 for image an make an black an white alpha mode image to put on resolve.
Then on resolve i import the file to media pool and the matte as matte.
But on color tab, how do i put the alpha on manual it says “right click and set alpha to the file in media pool” but there is no sub menu on right click node… (i’m in master session)

    Regards

Do you want to use the alpha matte to isolate your color correction or do you want to use it to key over another video track in the multitrack timeline ?

What you need to do is in the Browse Page, select the clip that you have already imported into the Media Pool and then select the matte that you want to associate it with in the storage browse area above, right click and select Add Matte.

The in the Color Page, add a node, right click and select the matte at the bottom of the menu. When you apply your color correction you will see the result. You can invert and blur the matte as well.
