Import HD without rendering
Hi all. I have an HV20 camcorder. I can capture footage (captures it at .m2t format), but it has to be rendered when i import it, which is quite annoying. Im sure there are some codecs that it does not have to render before use, but i dont know which they are, or which are best for hd video.
Does anyone know of a good hd codec that will import into premiere without the need to render? I know ill have to convert it from .m2t to a different format, but it’ll just save some time. Can DNxHD do it as well as up it to 4:2:2?
