    import from omga drive

    I am trying to import from an external omega drive into Avid 3.0
    I get the following error. MXF DOMAIN_INIT_FAILED
    there are other files on it that I have no trouble importing.

    any ideas how to recover the media from the ext drive.

    what kind of files are they? mxf?

    Yes they are mxf and were put there from a Vegas 8 edit system.
    there are also avi files on there and I can import them into Avid no problem. thanks
