Trying to import a .vob file from a dvd which I burned myself (my own material)into Vegas and having a problem.
When I play this file in Windows Media Player and in WinDVD, it plays perfectly and is 12m40s in length but, when I open it in Vegas, it plays poorly and is only 16s long ! I can’t imagine what has happened to the other 12m24s. I’ve tried dragging it into Vegas from Explorer but the same thing.
    Does anyone have a suggestion?
    Thanks !

Did you try “File – Import – DVD Camcorder Disc”?

    Mike,
You’re a hero ! That did it! Thanks so much for your response. The only major difference between Import/Media/and Import DVD Camcorder Disc is that you have to import the whole dvd. I only wanted one chapter but, no big deal. I’m just so happy that I was able to get the piece I needed.
    Thanks again.

    Thanks Gordon.
Glad to hear that it worked.
Out of curiosity, did you try dropping a .vob file on the Vegas timeline?
